Angela Rogers, President & Managing Member

HOMETOWN: Angela hails from the small town of Stephens, Arkansas in the Southeast part of the state. However, after living in the capital city for so long, she now considers Little Rock her hometown.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND: For over 25 years, Angela has provided professional and reliable services that produce innovative and strategic results. She has spent many years developing strong relationships in the hospitality, conventions and public relation’s industries and has delivered successful results for numerous clients. Angela brings extensive national and local experience to her firm in a wide range of disciplines that include: providing publicity and marketing strategies to a Hurricane emergency relief response, coordinating state, regional and international conferences, U.S. presidential events, music concerts, sporting competitions, and an Olympic torch lighting ceremony.
Prior to establishing the Angela Rogers Group, she managed the strategic destination marketing and communications initiatives on behalf of the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau for 10 years. During her time at the Bureau, she led the coordination of 17 presidential events, and worked with global organizations such as the American Taekwondo Association, Sister Cities, Heifer International and the Clinton Foundation with the opening of the William J. Clinton Presidential Library & Museum. She also participated in the development of professional sporting events that included both ESPN and HBO boxing matches. In her senior management role as the director of destination marketing and communications, she acted as the liaison between the Little Rock hotel and restaurant industries, implemented destination hospitality and diversity training seminars, and drove all national, regional and local media relations efforts.
Angela Rogers Group (ARG) was established in April of 2006, with a team ready to hit the ground running. Fortunately, ARG was awarded a bid to continue working for Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, including the River Market, providing destination marketing and public relations services. As a multi-service company, our most recent notable clients are split mostly between Public Relations (PR) and Convention Management services.
PR clients include, but not limited too, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus (6 years before they retired the show), Cirque du Soleil, Monster Jam, Professional Bull Riders Association and Disney on Ice. Presently, ARG manages conferences for Site Selectors Guild (an international organization), Arkansas Water Works & Water Environment Association and Arkansas Poultry Federation to name a few.
Angela’s experience and service has resulted in several awards and recognitions of mention, such as an award for superior customer service from the United States Secret Service, and commendations from former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, the City of Little Rock, Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau, United States Air Force, Supreme Court of Arkansas, as well as many other high-profile organizations, businesses and non-profit organizations.
BABIES AND FURBABIES: In 2012, Angela and her husband Brian welcomed a new furbaby, Raymond LeRoy Rogers (AKA Ray Roy) to the ARG family. From a 2-pound pup to a mean and lean 13-pound young man, Ray Roy is an essential part of the ARG team. He enjoys being surrounded by all of the ladies and believes HE is the real President and CEO of the firm but for now he will settle for the title of CPO (Chief Paw Officer). He is training us all well!!
Little did they know a short four years later, Ray Roy was to gain a new brother. On June 26th, 2016 the family trio was traveling through Rose Bud when they surpassed an abandoned pup on the side of the road. Being the dog-loving team they are, Angela and Brian couldn’t help but take in the adorable golden dog as their own. When no one claimed him, they officially adopted him, naming him Bud Rogers in remembrance of the town he was discovered. His duties include trying to keep Ray Roy in check, training to be the ARG office manager while also being a wonderful playmate for office lounging. The family is now complete.
