Thank you so very much for your support of the Diamond Heart Ball “Puttin’ on the Ritz” benefiting the American Heart Association. As a result of your dedication as a volunteer, this annual event grew to become the most successful single annual event fundraiser in the state of Arkansas by raising $440,000. This is the largest amount ever raised by the American Heart Association, Heartland Affiliate, Little Rock, at any single event and far exceeded the established goal. These monies will be used to reach the goal of reducing death and disability caused by heart attack and stroke by 25% by the year 2010.

As you may remember, for a long time I have been conducting the bar exam twice a year in the Conference Center. I have always been pleased with the space and service provided by the staff.

The last examination, however, sets a new standard for good work. The specific purpose of this writing is to bring to your attention the keen professionalism and diligence exhibited by my event coordinator, Angela England. As a result of her preparation before the exam, and attention during the exam, we had the most uneventful and uncomplicated examination ever.
